If the Seagle/Kelly X-Men sucked after the Claremont/Simonson and Lobdell/Necieza runs and the Chichester Daredevil sucked after the Miller and Nocenti runs, then how are you going to break the curse with Captain Marvel now that DeConnick is gone and she followed the also well recieved Brian Reed?
