As I read through your Tumblr answers, Tom, you seem to have said that Kang is a causalty of the Incursion. You have said many things here on the internet that are vexing :-) but that may be the most troubling of all. The Nerd Word on Marvel is that the House of Ideas has less compelling villains than the other major houses, and to delete Kang from all time and space seems like a choice to make that (unfair) criticism come true. Can you really take Kang out that easily?
We destroyed literally every other villain in all universes, so including Kang was no difficulty at all.
