Obviously this isn't your company, but can you explain how Convergence made it easier for DC to move offices? wouldn't it be harder to coordinate a massive event series than a bunch of unconnected monthly books?

The idea was that the Convergence books would all be produced ahead of time, largely using talent and editorial resources that weren’t working on the regular books. And so there’d be a nice gap of time for those months during which they could relocate without needing to send books to press.
