  • Okay, here's a thing Tom. Female Thor regular outsells Odinson Thor by 20,000 books. Female Thor hits the Top ten sales charts [though recently dropped to 16] whereas Odinson Thor never cracked the Top 30. HOWEVER, Female Thors sales dropped 45% compared to Odinson's 40%. Just how much does that 5% matter? Is the drop from 150k to 70k a more disastrous one than dropping 110k to 46k? [noting that 'sales' information is Diamond est. and not actual data, which I know you can't divulge]

I’m sorry, but you’re asking me questions about sales using data that isn’t right–so every aspect of your question is immediately in doubt. I cannot agree with any of your assertions here.

What I can say unequivocally is that the current THOR series sells very well, and routinely charts at the very top of our sales across the line, which the earlier version did not do. Anybody who’s trying to make this out to be a failure has a very strange idea as to how failure works.
