Are there any Fantastic Four runs that tried to do what Bendis and Hickman have done with Avengers - de-emphasize the traditional tropes and villains of the series? (Galactus, Inhumans, Silver Surfer, Negative Zone, etc.) Hickman has said his FF run is more nostalgic than his Avengers run, and I can't recall a lot of attempts to do an anti-nostalgic FF. The closest I can think of, oddly, is Waid, who didn't have a lot of familiar characters until Doom showed up.
