Tom, jumping on to that Thor question with the collections comment. Image, Valiant and many other publishers get collections out within weeks of a story ending. The first Thor collection was issues 1-5, its quite possible you guy's could've gotten that out before issue 8 came out and spoiled the "mystery" at the heart of the book.
That’s a choice, though. From the feedback we get from our retailers, rushing out a collection that fast hurts the sales of the regular book. At Image they may see a different pattern for their titles.
