It just occurred to me that the Maximoffs' latest retcon totally helps to explain how Quicksilver just suddenly regained his powers after M-day. So there's that.

There are a bunch of things like this that it helps explain–such as them losing their powers back in the early 1960s and getting them back after visiting Wundagore Mountain.
