  • Tom, I'm a little behind because you guys have the dumbest collection shipping schedule (hey lets wait to release a collection until the series is already over!!) but in the most recent Thor, if Jane (or even back in the day with Donald Blacke) gets the power from holding the hammer, why do they retain the Thor form when throwing it? Doesn't that count as no longer holding it, i.e., they shouldn't possess the power of Thor, since its not in their hands (per the enchantment text)?

To your first point, we kinda do have to wait until the comics are completed to release any collection, you know?

And in the old days, Thor needed to be in contact with the hammer every 60 seconds in order to remain in his godly form, or else he’d revert to being Donald Blake. I presume that something similar is the case with the new Thor.
