Jeph Loeb currently refuses to discuss Ultimatum. You've mentioned not hating the story. Considering Jeph Loeb's work on Batman, Cable and Hulk and his current work on the Agent Carter and Daredevil TV series, it's easy to see why he'd disown his worst work but why can't you accept that Ultimatum was a terrible series which killed the Ultimate line?

Ultimatum came out in, what, 2009? That’s some pretty slow-acting death there.
Look, you can dislike any story all you want, you don’t need me or anybody else to agree with you. So there’s really nothing to be gained by asking versions of this same passive-aggressive question every few months.
