  • Hi Tom! I know I'm behind on the times, but I just got my copy of the Spiderverse hardcover and it is incredible! Super high quality all around. I did have a question about the issue ordering, though. On one of the first pages is a sort of table of contents/reading order for the event and all the issues included in the hardcover - but the issues aren't ordered like that, they're just grouped by series. I was curious as to the inclusion of a reading order page, but not ordering the book to it?

That was an attempt to be all things to all people. Those stories weren’t really designed to be read one to the next, but there are always those who want to know the chronological sequence and want to read the book in that manner. That reading order allows them to do that if they so choose.
