Do you like the idea of the Lazarus Pit in terms of being able to bring back a character when the creative team / editorial want to instead of having to think up a resurrection story that may risk being convoluted or ill-received?
I think that any story device can be overused or ill-used. But that doesn’t mean that it has to be. If you buy into the story, if it works for the audience, then it’s fine.
