  • Tom, you've said that continuity should serve the story, not the other way around, but if I'm reading a character thats been around for 60 odd years, I want to feel that. If you're not building on whats come before, why bother keeping the same characters around?

    One doesn’t imply the other. You’re pointing to extremes. But you seem to be saying that you disagree with the way we do things. And that’s fine, but it’s hardly a compelling argument to change the way we do things.
