Have you guys at Marvel considered returning to the numbering system you used in the early 2000s where some comics had both the issue number from the current run and the overall issue number? Like how Avengers vol 3 #51 also has "466" underneath the numbering. I think that'd be a great way to appeal to everyone, that way new readers have places they can easily jump on and old readers can stop complaining. Either way, love what you guys are doing and I'm looking forward to reading Secret Wars

Having been around for that period, trust me, older readers wouldn’t stop complaining. Add to that the fact that we couldn’t keep that duel numbering straight, and screwed it up on a few occasions, and it becomes a whole lot of work for no real return. Which is why we abandoned it in the first place.
