This may be naive, but I still have faith in the heroes of the MU. They'll win out in the end. They're heroes and you're the custodian of that heroism. It'll hurt. But in the end they'll shine, even despite themselves.
They’ll certainly shine–before they burst into flames and disintegrate.:)
