  • Hello, I wanted to ask how decisions like "All-New Captain America" or "Superior Spider-Man" come to be? Does the writer go to editors with, let's say, idea of Otto taking over Peter's body, and they accept (or not) it, or do Editors tell writer that he has to do a story about Otto taking over Peter's body?

In both cases, the idea came from the writer, who brought it to the editor, who accepted it and pushed for it. In only the rarest of cases would something like an editor telling a writer that he has to do a story about Otto taking over Spider-Man’s body happen.
