Tom, do you think its a good move or bad move from DC to remove their fictional cities like Star City and Fawcett City from their respective characters background? Green Arrow seemingly operates from Seattle and Shazam in Philadelphia instead.

Over the years, DC has tried to do both. In the cases you list, I don’t think it matters all that much, in that Star and Fawcett Cities aren’t so immediately identified with those characters. (They even changed Star to Starling for the television program.)

I don’t think you’d want to remove Superman from metropolis or Batman from Gotham, though.
