  • Bit of a bizarre question, but relevant with the current success of the DD series. Why did Richard Fisk choose the name 'The Rose' when he was working under his father. I kind of assumed it was meant as a subliminal threat considering Fisk took the rose from Rigoletto after killing him to take him criminal empire, and that what Richard was intending to do later on. I can't find a single reason for the naming of his character.

    Well, the real reason is a lot more complicated than that, in that, when he was created, the Rose wasn’t meant to be Richard Fisk at all.
