New Brevoort Formspring

Hey, Tom. I've been wondering something about the Wizard. In Fantastic Four Unlimited #5, it was mentioned he changed his name legally to "The Wizard". However, his name change has never been mentioned ever since. And in subsequent years he has been referred to simply as Bently Wittman. Has this piece of the character's history been retconned by oblivion or still applies? Thanks!
