I have mixed feelings about iceman coming out. What concerns me is that I haven't felt that Marvel has had a great track record with gay characters so far? They are few and far between and in a lot of cases I don't think their storylines have been handled very organically. Lot of them are getting married/engaged too quickly and I think people are not getting sold on the love in the relationship first and foremost which in the long run I wonder if that's helpful to the cause of gay rights.
