From what I’ve seen–I’m only up to Episode 8–the DAREDEVIL television series is about exactly this question. All along the way, other characters have been telling Matt that he should take the easy way out and simply kill Wilson Fisk, that this is the only reasonable course of action. And yet, Matt hangs true to his beliefs and strives to find another way, even when this results in him getting beat to hell.
This is what I’ve been talking about in a nutshell. Doing what’s right > Doing what’s easiest.
