Seeing DC drop their price points on some books, I wonder why you still feel the need to charge so much for yours. I paid $14.99 for the last (excellent) saga tpb for 6 issues. Yet you are now pricing your tpbs at $24.99 for 7 issues or $15.99 for 4 issues and a back issue people probably own. I realise your mentality is why not if people will pay it. I get you're a business but it seems like short term thinking.
If it was short-term thinking then we’d really be in the soup at this point, as we’ve been running our business the same way for many, many years now. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, but if it’s anything like yesterday, then we’ll be doing all right.
We price our books at the price they need to be at in order for us to produce them and to keep the doors open and the lights on. Other companies do as well–and depending on what they are selling and who they have producing the work, they may need to cut down on their cover prices as an inducement to bring readers in the door–the disadvantages of not having Spider-Man. I cannot speak for their business model, I can only speak for ours, though.
