It used to be that Reed Richards was a judo master. Is that one of those things like Namor's electricity powers that just isn't a thing anymore?

Reed Richards was a judo master for one panel to explain how Sue broke Doctor Doom’s grip (because, being a girl, she couldn’t possibly have done it on her own.) So I don’t think that was a thing two panels later in the same story even.
