Um…no, no , it doesn’t.
it means you feel that way–clearly, as you must have posted 67 times in the past few days between Brian’s tumblr page and mine. But–and this can be hard to hear–your feelings are not universal.
At the moment, you’re speaking of a character that Brian hasn’t been writing about for something like five years. A character that has been appearing regularly, and who is about to make her debut in an enormous motion picture. I think that maybe it’s time to get over it and move on–the rest of the world has already done so.
You’re shouting about something that couldn’t be changed even if anybody wanted to change it without a time machine. It’s a pointless line of attack, it accomplishing nothing, it adds nothing to the dialogue. You don’t like it, I get it. Maybe don’t read those back issues. And maybe don’t go to those boards where there are still people who hate a fictional character for what happened in a story, because clearly she is to blame for that–that conversation apparently gets under your skin, but your attendance there is not mandatory. If it hurts you, don’t do it.
But really, what are you trying to accomplish here?
