How do y'all reconcile the symbiotes in GotG with how they are portrayed in Spider-Man and the X-Men? Do your fellow editors not talk to each other/read the books your company publishes?

There isn’t any inconsistency. The Symbiotes on SPIDER-MAN AND THE X-MEN are others who were spawned away from the homeworld and therefore tainted, in the same manner as the Venom symbiote.
