New Brevoort Formspring

Re: the comics code. Wasn't Swamp Thing the first comic to completely abandon the code? I believe DC simply didn't drop it because it wasn't really impediment for the most part with their regular titles. And I believe Vertigo titles didn't have to carry it. Keeping the Code was probably a lot like carrying an umbrella on a slightly cloudy day- you very likely won't need it, but it didn't really hurt either...
