Magneto having been frozen in stasis for however many years is a bit of a big thing to have not previously come up at any point in the past. There'd also be the problem (as per Cap) where the amount of time he'd been frozen automatically increases with each passing year. As much as I dislike the notion, surely the best workaround is to not have him around anymore...
