Cleaning up confusing continuity in books like Secret Wars, Crisis and Convergence are obviously a great way to entice new readers in, but when you plan something like this, do you, as a business, weigh up the potential a flip side that some people might consider them a jumping off point?

Every comic is a potential jumping off point. You either feel that you have a story worth telling, or you don’t–and if you don’t, then you don’t do it.

We don’t spend a lot of time hand-wringing over our decisions here–we trust our collective judgment, and that of our creators.
