Was there any particular reason why Deathcry wasn't actually there for the first story arc in Busiek's Avengers? It seemed weird since the effort was made to drag in every possible Avenger you could but Deathcry, who wasn't been used elsewhere and wouldn't be used again for a long time, wasn't around.
