>Dear Tom as the fellow who sent you the two Doc Ock/Peter Parker letters which my name was attached to for submission so I certainly thought you would know they were from the same person, I certainly didn’t say that whatever happened with Anna Macaroni was definitely rape as I’m quoting from my first post here: ”I have to say I disagree with your determination in the case of Spider/Ock and sex with Anna Maria. First off, it’s probably not fitting the legal definition of sexual assault simply because there aren’t many cases of mind switch sexual deception in the real world. Yet Anna Maria consented to sex with the person she was introduced to, which was Peter Parker’s body. Otto Octavius committed fraud in order to sleep with her. Even adulterers can have criminal charges brought against them in many states, so deception in sex can be a viable issue, especially to the level that the Marvel universe can create deception. Put it this way if you slept with a Skrull who impersonated your wife, would you feel violated once you found out? Probably. Would it be considered rape? Maybe. So there’d probably have to be some real cases in order to set legal precedent.
So I never definitively stated that. And I stated the ambiguity of the case. I then went on to state that I thought what happened to Peter Parker was definitely rape and made my case there. I won’t bother quoting that because you then made the same case in the second reply concerning Peter. But in my second reply, I said and I quote here: I didn’t have to work very hard at all to create a link between Peter Parker, Doc Ock and rape. A character had sex in another character’s body. He used the body for his own personal pleasure against the other person’s wishes and ability to consent.
I specifically pointed out Peter and Doc Ock. I never mentioned Anna Macaroni, did I? I specifically stated the two persons who were involved and I said “a character had sex in another character’s body” and specified the inability to consent and against the wishes which were certainly not present in Anna Maria’s caes thus specifying the body usurping aspect, so your whole rant in your answer to me was completely wrong as I was not arguing that Anna was raped and I was concerned for Peter Parker. I don’t imagine you’ll apologize for your ill warranted rant or completely mistaking and misreading and putting words into my mouth, but it would sure be nice if you did…>
Everybody needs to read these things a little bit more closely.
All of these posts have been submissions. I haven’t written any of them.
I posted yours; I posted his. Equal time. That’s the extent of my involvement here.
