As he's been writing Avengers Jonathan Hickman has incorporated the major status quo changes of loads of characters including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine and Spider-Man without it seemed to effect the story that he's telling. Were some of those changes harder to accept or was he generally "it's cool, I can make it work"?

Jonathan has always found a way to make what he was doing work, because right from the start he had considered that the Marvel Universe is a dynamic and evolving place, and he worked that regularity of change into his thinking.
