You said that people in comics wouldn't care for the approach of magazine numbering. Could you expand on why they wouldn't like that a little more? I've always been curious about that. — Russ

Well, there’s the stuff that Kurt mentioned: what do you do if a book is bimonthly? What do you do if a series runs late, or ships two issues in the same month? How could you ever be sure there was a July 2015 issue if you couldn’t find one? It sounds like a sensible idea, but most other magazines and periodicals don’t so directly refer to their past releases as comics do.
