So on the subject of relaunches and continuity, when you relaunched Avengers after Heroes Reborn, was there much debate over how much of the pre-Onslaught stuff to reference? Because I recall most of it being left out or downplayed, or at least when I read it (not having read Onslaught or Heroes Reborn) I just knew they'd been away for a while.
It was a new beginning, so we treated it as such. Immediately referring back to stories that had been done two years earlier and trying to pick up from that point as though nothing had happened would have been madness. Everything that needed to be addressed eventually got addressed, but the immediate goal was to begin a new era with these characters re-integrated back into the Marvel universe proper, not clean up stuff from the earlier runs.
