Just curious. I always thought that DC's books would work better if they were divided by Universes rather than by character age or association. For example if they were to reboot and then have the Superman from the New 52 in one universe and keep going with the story of the pre 52 Superman and the Crime Syndicate Ultraman at least from my perspective all the book would do well. Same thing applies to Batman and Wonder Woman according to me at least. Do you think this could work better?
I don’t know about better–that sounds very much like the original Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth-3 model that they originally had and decided wasn’t effective for them. only more so, as all of these Earths would have multiple series. How would you effectively communicate to a reader who wasn’t familiar with all of the ins and outs of this set-up which characters belonged to which world or which continuity counted towards which. Just this week, we’ve had readers confused about SPIDER-GWEN, and that’s just one book.
I think one excellent Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman book trumps any number of middling Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman books (or any other characters you choose to name.)
