  • In the last issue of Invaders Cap says he's never been old before. I guess he didn't read Cap #296- 300? I understand you guys have to concern yourselves with the current readers moreso than the old guard, and the storyline I'm referencing is 20 plus years old, but isn't ignoring these stories as if they never happened essentially the same as just rebooting?

When people speak about things, they are not didactic about what they’re speaking about, nor do they quote chapter-and-verse like an encyclopedia entry. if they did, you would have told me who wrote and drew CAP #296-300 and the conditions under which you purchased and read them.

Again, continuity is a tool, it is not the purpose of these stories. if it was relevant to reference that particular CAP story in that moment then we would have done so. But as it was not, we did not, Steve did not. He’s a person, not a bad wikipedia entry.
