  • Tom, Mark Waid's "Daredevil" is the best. In the character's long publication history, what other runs are most like this? I enjoy Bendis/Brubaker's dark stuff but this version of Matt is easily my favorite. Thank!

    Well, there’s the Stan Lee/Gene Colan era, which this one draws some inspiration from, though it’s not quite as over-the-top as that run was. And there was Karl Kesel’s short run with Cary Nord that also had a similar tone, back in the 1990s.
