Why does common sense never really happens in comics? Like come on now , Beast is Cosmically Enhanced with the Black Vortex , common sense would dictate he would have figured out the Incursions when he said on page " I understand everything now"

Well, he had other things he was dealing with.
And also, if the Living Tribunal couldn’t suss things out, it seems unlikely that empowerment by a device gifted by the Celestials would automatically have any better luck.
