Bullshit Tom. Soldiers kill, and don't need any committee to investigate whether they were in the right when the bullets fly. They don't stop and think about "apprehending" the soldiers on the opposite side. It's kill or be killed. Cops will shoot when necessary and if it means killing in the line of protecting the innocent, then that's what it means. Spider-Man has the opportunity to do what is needed to protect society from Carnage (for example) and he doesn't. Bloods on his hands.
Bullshit, anonymous. Soldiers kill enemy combatants, but should they kill indiscriminately they are held accountable for their actions. And yes, Cops will shoot when necessary, as they should, but they too are following very specific rules of engagement, and every shoot is investigated to see that it was a proper discharge of a weapon. Shooting in either case is not the first option.
