Ok I have to know the answer to this one. Hickman has been seeding stuff for secret wars in every marvel book he has going back years. Which means at some point you knew were going to merge ultimate M and regular M together. So why make nick fury jr in the first place? Why not just use secret wars to retcon out old nick fury and replace him with ultimate nick. You have planning this event for 6 years! Why not do this?
