I have absolutely no hatred of Dum Dum Dugan. I love Dum Dum.But Dum Dum was in his thirties when he fought in World War II–that’s solidly documented.So today, he would be at least a hundred years old.And sure, you could do some magic life extension on him, like has been done with so many other characters. But Dum Dum is supposed to be just a regular guy, a soldier, a sturdy friend. So that doesn’t seem like a great idea to me.People pass on. It’s a part of life that everybody has to deal with. Nobody is immortal–especially not Dum Dum.But he’ll still be on AGENT CARTER in 1946 this coming week.
