I will probably not purchase another comic until the entire event is done and I know whether or not I like what you did with it. Given the outcome of most of the recent events, I don't have a lot of faith that any of the change will be for the better. It seems like you guys use these to shake up comics in ways that don't matter. Not to make them more modern, more inclusive, more fresh, more forward-thinking. Just to make them ~edgy~ or ~different~ or help them tie into something.

So you’d rather the books were more old, more run-of-the-mill, more whitebread, more same-old same-old, more rudimentary?
If it’s not something that you’re interested in, it’s perfectly fine for you to sit out SECRET WARS if that’s the choice you make.
