  • i know this isn't your area but i'm sure you'll know: did Marvel outright sell the movie rights to X-Men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four? or are they all licensing agreements and if they don't make films in a certain amount of time they revert back to Marvel at the end of each agreement?

    Nobody sells off movie rights in their entirety separate from the property. That wouldn’t make sense. Everything is optioned. But the terms of those options make it a situation that is likely to exist in perpetuity.
