Alternate reality versions of characters fighting one another seems pretty similar whether it's Braniac Domes or Battleworld Zones. I have way more faith in Hickman, especially if it pays off things he has being building to for years vs something that seems to have been put together quickly because Marvel was doing it too and it conveniently covered an office move. Its dangerous for DC to remind people how much the prefer the Old 52, though, but they will probably just kill them off for good.

I will quibble with one point here: I do not in any way think that DC is doing CONVERGENCE because we were already doing SECRET WARS. If anything, if they had known what our plans were, they’d much more likely have done something completely different.
