I didn't buy Storm because to be honest i just don't see Storm as a solo character. She's too married to the X-Men and their cause. Wolverine, Gambit or Psylocke going off and having solo adventures is easier to buy into. Storm is too dedicated to leave. Same thing goes for Cyclops and Jean Grey.
