If nova sells well in collected form why is the 3rd volume out of print? It's actually blocked me from picking up the books to catch up and jump on board the series. I do wonder what the deal with Captain Marvel is though. The creative team doesn't seem overly popular and if i look up tpb sales history im pretty sure it doesn't sell much more than xfactor. Does digital really make that much of a difference yo sakes. You have said often each book has to earn its right to exist.

I might argue that the reason you can’t find NOVA volume 3 is that it sold well–well enough to sell through its print run more quickly than anybody could have anticipated.
Just take a look at all of the Carol Corps activity on tumblr, and the get-togethers at conventions, and the cosplay events. And then ask yourself: where do you think most of these particular readers are getting their copies of the book? (If your answer was digitally, you’d win the gold star!)
