Totally feed up with the Rich complainments but, just for curiosity. What happened to him years back when Brubaker made him an Avenger for a single mission (Secret Avengers). Did he lost the interest in the character? Was him obligued to fire it from the series because was needed for Abnet and Laning?
Bad timing. THANOS IMPERATIVE was being planned right as we were putting SECRET AVENGERS together, and as it ended with Nova and Star-Lord and Thanos all being lost in the Cancerverse, he had to come out of SECRET AVENGERS. Had we known that was going to happen from the get-go, we probably wouldn’t have used him in the series at all–our intention was that he’d be a regular part of the book. But things didn’t work out that way.
