“Whistle-blowers”? “Edward Snowden”? Guy, this is all fictional stories about made up characters that fly through the air. There are no lives at stake here, no liberties in jeopardy. This is fiction.
What you’re advocating here, in essence, is that TV Guide would be a better magazine if it printed the identity of the killer in the entry for each upcoming murder show.“Rosebud is his sled!” “All of the passengers on the Orient Express are the killer!” “That Crying Game woman is a dude!" "Bruce Willis is a ghost!”
You’re talking about entities whose only function is to weaken the effectiveness of the stories that are being crafted by so many people–and all for their own profit, whatever bullshit rationale they give for being “a force for good in the industry” or whatever. It’s not true.
They contribute nothing. They innovate nothing. They add nothing.
They leech off of the backs of the creators and stories that they claim to love, and you are so hungry for inside information, so hungry to find out what happens next that you not only enable it, you praise it, you defend it.
“Whistle blowers”. Give me a fucking break.
