Just to nip another "Story" in the bud for you, Tom, that Watcher figure was already sold years ago by Diamond Select Toys, along with Thanos, Mephisto, etc. What was cancelled was a recent re-issue, which might simply be because they ran out of old stock. Simple fact-checking would have solved this in 5 seconds. The only thing this has done is make aftermarket prices go up because now unscrupulous people can lie and call it a "BANNED" figure or something to take advantage of naive people.
