If you're willing to admit you replaced the classic nick fury with nick fury jr so it'll be closer to the movies, why can't you admit you're retconning Wanda and Pietro's origins for the same reason?

Because that’s not the reason we’re doing that story.
Given that I’ve admitted that we created the young Fury to better reflect the worldwide perception of Fury in the 21st century, you’d think you would maybe believe me when I tell you that.
