I've just finished reading Ed Brubaker's 2012 Winter Soldier run, and he implies that reviving Bucky was somewhat of a hard sell in his goodby note, is this the case? Hard to believe nowadays.
Of course, it was a very hard sell. Along with Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacy, Bucky was considered part of the triumvirate of characters that should never be resuscitated.
