Come on, who came up with Blackagar Boltagon as Black Bolt's name? That's like Greenoa Lanternbright being Green Lantern's real name. I think most every one would turn a blind eye if you retconned that bad bit of business out of continuity...

Afraid it’s been too long at this point, and used too often. I can’t recall offhand if that was Ann Nocenti’s doing when she was doing INHUMANS stuff around the GN in the 1980s, or Roy Thomas in FANTASTIC FOUR UNLIMITED in the 90s. Either way, it’s been used in so many stories at this point that trying to change it would prove difficult.
